Give him space to cool off: as long as he’s a good person /boyfriend , he’ll come back around once the initial anger goes away, then you’ll be able to have a better conversation to resolve the situation.
Listen to his feelings :your boyfriend likely wants to feel heard and understood. It’s really tempting to want to jump in there and fix whatever problem is going on immediately. Hold off a bit & pay attention to what he wants to say.
Apologize if you’re the cause of his anger: even if you didn’t intend to upset him, an apology shows that you empathize with how he feels, forget pride or ego. Later you can dive into the underlying problem & express your point of view, but for now, just let him know you’re sorry .
Try not to make things worst: one easy way to make things worst is to escalate the situation. Your relationship won’t survive if you try to always have a leg up on your man. Instead view it as a partnership between two people, where each have equal right. Treat him with the some respect you want to be treated.
